ORIGINS
Can Sau is a farmhouse located in the Catalan Pre-Pyrenees, in the old part of Ripollès, within the municipality of Sant Joan de les Abadesses.
The last to live in Can Sau were Mingu and Maria, grandparents of Lluís and great-grandparents of Pol and Núria. From them we inherit a stubborn and persevering character, a fighting and resilient attitude that seeks to solve everyday adversities with simplicity and austerity. Unconditional respect for the landscape, the environment and the small details. In short, an imperative need to keep improving.
After years of small transformations and renovations, always faithful to traditional architecture, we are very excited to open the doors of our house to you, the roots that define who we are.
